The 4-string Sterling by Music Man Bongo in Firemist Purple Satin combines a sculpted bayur body with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Deep cutaways give access to its 24 frets, while the 34-inch scale keeps the familiar reach of a full-scale bass.
Two ceramic humbuckers are connected to a pickup blend control and active two-band preamp. This lets you change the balance between neck and bridge pickups, then shape the result with onboard EQ. A six-bolt neck attachment, dual-action truss rod and open-gear tuners complete the practical hardware around the Bongo’s distinctive body shape.
