Protection Racket's Sample Pad Case is a purpose-built rigid enclosure designed for the Roland SPD-SX, SPD-SX Pro, Yamaha DTX Multipad, and Alesis Strike Multipad. The AAA rigid-case range prioritises damage protection during transport and touring, combining internal structure with an external hardwearing diamond PVC base. This case specifically accommodates pads with factory mounts intact, eliminating the need for disassembly before packing.

Internal dimensions measure 38cm × 38cm × 19cm, providing adequate space for most standard sample pads and their hardware. Two foam blocks create a dedicated channel to secure the mount, whilst dual webbing straps lock the unit firmly in position during transit. A 30cm × 26cm × 5cm zipped pocket on the lid stores cables, pedals, and accessories; the padded top handle and adjustable backpack straps offer flexible carrying options for gigging and studio work alike.

The DTX Multipad requires removal of its mounting bracket to fit this case—a minor trade-off given the compact footprint.
