Protection Racket's AAA rigid bass drum case (model A1622-00) combines advanced poly­carbonate frame construction with the brand's heritage in drum protection. The Triple A–Plex™ Rocket Foam™ core delivers exceptional impact resistance through lightweight, engineered polymers, making this case suitable for touring musicians, recording studios, and high-traffic venues where drums face genuine wear. The 22" × 16" shell size accommodates standard kick drums with internal dimensions of 25½" × 19½" to account for hardware and bearing edges.

Construction centres on a poly­carbonate frame paired with neoprene ergonomic handles and plastic piping edges for durability during transport. A 6" × 4" clear window pocket allows quick visual identification of your drum without opening the case. The internal dimensions provide ample clearance for shells, hoops, and lugs, whilst the rigid exterior protects against dents, punctures, and compression damage common in vans, flights, and storage. Weight distribution is managed through the handle design, reducing strain during extended carrying.

The AAA range addresses the gap between soft cases and flight cases: rigid enough to survive active touring but lighter than traditional hard cases. Drummers moving between venues regularly benefit from the combination of impact resistance and portability.
