The 12" × 9" RIMS Rigid Tom Case (model A5129R-00) incorporates Triple A-Plex™ technology–an advanced polymer composite–combined with Rocket Foam™ inner construction for impact resistance that outperforms conventional soft cases. Built for touring drummers and session players alike, this case delivers genuine ruggedness without excessive weight.

Internal dimensions measure 15" × 10", providing clearance for drum hardware and bearing edges on 12" × 9" shells. The case features a 6" × 4" clear window pocket for quick kit identification, neoprene ergonomic handle for road fatigue reduction, and reinforced plastic piping edges to prevent shell contact during storage. The poly-carbonate frame absorbs impacts from drops, stage collisions, and vehicle transport–areas where soft cases typically fail. The combination of rigid exterior protection and shock-absorbing foam maintains shell integrity across repeated touring cycles.
