Protection Racket's 15'’ floor tom case RIMS (catalogue 2019R-00) is purpose–built for drummers running suspension–mounted systems rather than traditional legs. RIMS technology allows the drum to float independently of the stand, improving resonance and isolation. This case's internal dimensions of 19” × 16” accommodate the larger footprint required by RIMS–equipped shells, with generous clearance for all mounting hardware and bearing edges.

The 2019R-00 design requires removal of all three legs before loading the tom, which is straightforward on suspension–mounted kits. Internal space accounts for the wider profile of RIMS systems whilst maintaining protective rigidity around the shell itself. Parallel cases in the catalogue (standard 2019-00 at 18” × 16” internal depth) underscore how RIMS variants demand approximately 1” additional width to accommodate the distinct mounting geometry and hardware fixtures integral to these systems.
