Internal dimensions of 17" × 17" provide 3" of extra width and depth beyond the shell's 14" × 16" footprint, accommodating lugs, bearing rims, and mounting hardware without forcing removal of the entire drum. For toms fitted with RIMS suspension systems, the matching 2015R-00 variant offers 18" × 17" internal space–an extra inch of clearance–and requires no shell disassembly. The case itself is constructed from rigid materials designed to withstand repeated gigging, with reinforced edges and a well-engineered closure system.
