The 14" Timba (catalogue 9814-00) suits standard timbal shells with internal dimensions of 15.75" × 27½", accommodating hardware fixtures that extend beyond the drum's bearing edges.

Internal cavity depth distinguishes the two available configurations. The standard 9814-00 provides 27½" of internal length, sufficient for most timbal setups with mounting hardware. For deeper or multiple-shell configurations, the extended 9814-01 stretches to 35½" internal length, both maintaining the same 15.75" width. Propile foam lining contours around the drum shell, reducing rattle and protecting lacquer or chrome finishes from contact damage during vehicle transport and storage.
