This multi–channel snake cable from Hosa's Edge series connects DB25–equipped audio interfaces, patch bays, and mixing consoles with a single high–density connector that handles eight balanced analogue channels. The 4–metre length provides practical routing distance for rack–mounted gear and studio configurations without excess cable clutter. Each of the eight channels runs a discrete balanced line, eliminating the need for individual XLR or TRS connections between compatible devices.

The cable terminates in male DB25 connectors at both ends, wired to the Tascam pinout standard that has become the de facto specification for multi–channel analogue audio transmission in professional and project studio environments. Oxygen–free copper conductors maintain signal integrity across the full audio bandwidth, while spiral shielding on each pair provides protection from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The moulded strain relief at each connector junction reduces mechanical stress on the termination points during repeated connection and disconnection cycles.
