The Red FretWraps in this three-pack help control unwanted string ringing during recording, tapping and live performance. The wrap rests across the strings to reduce sympathetic vibration and overtones, giving you an extra way to manage string noise when a passage needs careful muting.
The small size is recommended for most six-string guitars and four-string basses. Adjust the strap to set the amount of damping, then slide the wrap behind the nut or towards the headstock when open-string resonance is needed. Three dampeners are included, useful for fitting several instruments or keeping spares in your recording setup. Installation requires no tools or permanent instrument modification.
