The SD8 adds eight remotely controlled microphone preamps and eight XLR outputs to a compatible AES50 mixing system. Its compact format makes it easy to position connections near performers, with two inputs supporting Hi-Z instrument sources.
A two-port Ultranet hub distributes audio and power to compatible P16-M personal mixers. Dual AES50 connections allow additional stage boxes to be cascaded, and shielded CAT5e cabling carries the connection over distances up to 100 metres.
