Virtual Instruments: Orchestra

Orchestral virtual instruments help composers sketch and develop arrangements using software. They provide a way to explore ensemble textures and individual parts before sharing ideas with collaborators or completing a production.

Consider which instrument sections and articulations your work requires, along with how you prefer to control expression. Library size, loading time and DAW compatibility also matter, especially when a project combines many instruments across a larger score.
