MXR pedalboard power units are worth comparing around the actual needs of your effects. A useful power plan starts with a list of pedals and their individual electrical requirements, alongside the space you have available on the board.

Check voltage, polarity and current capacity for each output, as well as whether the outputs are isolated. Review the included cables, input power requirements and mounting dimensions, and leave room in the plan for any pedals you expect to add later.
