Designed to interface seamlessly with flagship systems like the Midas HD96, it provides a reliable bridge between dual HyperMAC inputs and up to eight fully redundant AES50 connections, ensuring stable high-resolution audio distribution at up to 192 bidirectional channels running at 96 kHz.

The AS88 utilises FPGA-based switching technology to provide seamless failover protection across HyperMAC links, maintaining audio integrity even in the event of a primary connection failure. Ideal for mission-critical applications, it unlocks full redundancy across both Snake ports on the HD96 platform while preserving real-time performance and channel capacity.

Equipped with rugged RJ45 and optical connections, the AS88 is ready for demanding production environments where long-distance, high-quality digital audio transmission is essential. Its road-ready 2U chassis, dual universal power supply, and advanced switching architecture make it the trusted backbone for high-performance live audio systems.

Features

Dual redundant HyperMAC to 8 redundant AES50 SMAC converter

Supports up to 192 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz sample rate

Advanced FPGA-based technology for seamless failover switching

Dual redundant auto-ranging universal switch-mode power supply

Rugged RJ45 and optical connectors for reliable integration

2U rackmountable chassis with compact footprint

Engineered for high-performance touring and live sound systems

RRP: A$6,999.00

For more information, please visit the manufacturer's website.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1764/4443/files/midas-as88-dual-hmac-to-8-port-dual-redundant-aes50-converter-453058-gsus4-2270596.jpg?v=1791632648
